Privacy Policy

What stays on your device

Your notes, notebooks, photos, voice recordings and reminders are stored only inside the app on your phone. We don't run servers that receive them, and the app has no accounts.

When you add a picture, the app only gets the photo you choose from your library or take with the camera; it does not read the rest of your library. Pictures are reduced in size and kept inside the app.

Voice notes are recorded with the microphone only while you hold the recording open, and kept inside the app. The microphone level is used to draw the waveform; no audio is analyzed or sent anywhere.

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone. The app doesn't use push notifications or any notification server.

Permissions the app asks for

Each permission is asked for only when you use the feature, and the app works without it:

• Photos and camera: to put a picture in a note
• Microphone: to record a voice note
• Notifications: to show reminders
• Tracking (iPhone only): to personalize ads, if you allow it

Sharing and importing

When you share a note as text or as an .anotacao file, the app hands it to the app you choose on your phone. From then on, it's handled by that app under its own privacy policy.

Backups and shared note files are files you create and send yourself; we never receive them. Files you open with the app (notes or stickers) are read on your phone only.

Your content is private to you

Because your notes and attachments never reach us, we don't own, see, review or moderate them. You alone are responsible for what you write and share with the app, as described in our Terms of Use.

Backups

The app doesn't back up your data automatically, to us or to any cloud service. Your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) may include the app's data, depending on your settings; we have no access to it. The app gives you the tools to create a backup file and restore it; where you keep that file, and keeping it safe, is up to you.

We're not responsible for backups that are lost, damaged or modified, whether by you or by any other app or service (for example cloud storage, file managers or messaging apps).

Premium purchase

If you buy Premium, the purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies. The app receives only the confirmation that your store account owns Premium, and keeps that on your phone. We don't receive your name, payment details or address.

Advertising

The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:

• Device and app information, such as model, operating system and app version
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Interactions with the app and its ads, such as app launches, views and taps
• Diagnostic data about the performance of the app and the ads SDK, such as crash logs, launch time and energy use
• Device identifiers: the advertising identifier (on iPhone, the IDFA, only if you allow tracking; on Android, subject to your phone's ad settings) and, on Android, the App Set ID

In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and places with similar laws, the app asks for your consent before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options.

On iPhone, the app asks for permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. If you don't allow it, you still see ads, but they're less personalized. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Premium removes ads, and the ads SDK then requests nothing.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we don't run analytics or crash reporting of our own, and we don't collect your name, email, contacts, location or the content of your notes.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your notes stay on your phone until you delete them. Deleting a note also deletes its pictures and recordings and cancels its reminder. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored on your phone; backup files you made and your phone's own backup, if any, stay where they are. To reset the advertising identifier, use your phone's settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the LGPD in Brazil), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. As we don't hold data about you, most requests are about ad data: use Privacy options in the app, or contact Google. For anything else, write to contato@brunsolutions.com.br.

Minors

The app is intended for people aged 18 or over and is not directed to children or teenagers. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
